Old Business:

We now have magnets for vehicles.  There are four 8x11 magnets at a cost of $5.00 each.  The banners have arrived.  There is one horizontal 6' wide for the back of booths and two smaller vertical ones with stands.  All are on heavy-duty outdoor vinyl.  VistaPrint produced them for a total of $275 including stands.

Show totes still need to be ordered.  Deb needs to figure out the sizes required by animals that will go to shows and will get them ordered this week.

Treasurer's Report:  Checking account current balance is:  $2,500.  Nothing is due.

Care Sheets (Finished):  Burmese Python, Savannah Monitor, Crested Gecko, Mites, Hook Training, Uromastyx, Prey Feeding, Large Constrictor Safety, Common Boa.  (Needed):  African Rock Python, Reticulated Python, Anaconda (Nick); Water Dragon (Cally); IBD (Aaron); Bearded Dragon (Deb); Iguana (Russell).  Aaron will also work on a sheet regarding buying from breeders vs. pet stores.

Nick suggested that we consider endorsing veterinarians, making a list of ones that we approve for exotics and keep up on it (vs. endorsing a breeder/store).

Indy Show:  (January 15th)  Three rooms at the Staybridge Inn have been reserved and are reptile friendly.  One room is for the reptiles and will be heated to 80 degrees.  The cost of the rooms will be $90/night each plus tax.  EWHSR will pay for the reptile room.  The other rooms will be split between everyone else attending.

Nick may bring the new rescue (more below), Deb will bring the Plated Lizard, 2 Geckos, and 2 baby Boas, Aaron & Cally will bring Irwin/Bearded Dragon, a Fox snake, a Chahoua & Ruth/Argentine Boa.

Deb will bring a large bottle of hand sanitizer and paper towels.  Bring coolers with food for cooking and swimsuits.  There is an indoor pool at the hotel and full kitchens in every room.  A breakfast buffet is included with the rooms and free wi-fi.  Everyone can bring their laptops and cameras too.  This is to be a dry event for us as a group.  No drinking until after the show.

We will be leaving on Friday morning from Deb's.  Everyone should be there by 10 a.m., Nick will need to come to Plymouth to pack supplies in his truck.

Cally is working on a PowerPoint presentation of our rescues.  Aaron has a tablet PC and Deb will supply a 22" monitor.

Setup begins at 7 a.m. EST on Saturday.  Deb is finishing business cards for everyone.  There will also be name tags with lanyards.

Indy is our "dress rehearsal" for Tinley Park, so we'll already have experience doing a large show out of state.

NARBC Show (Valentine's Weekend):  Brainstorming show for fighting S373.  PIJAC and USARK will be there, Friday night vendor setup will close at 6 p.m. for a big summit meeting of all the vendors and display groups with PIJAC/USARK.  Formulate some plan of action for S373.
